It takes 3-4 years for the vanilla plant to begin producing beans that must be harvested by hand. The beans then go through a time-consuming and labour intensive process to allow them to fully develop their aroma and flavour.

Extraction

Rather than distilling the plant material to create an essential oil, pressurised CO2 and natural alcohol are used in a two-step extraction process that captures the natural vanillin component from the beans which is combined with Fractionated Coconut Oil.
